I understand what it is like to be an overwhelmed and depressed mother of a special needs child. I found my answer through prayer. I want to share with you what I have learned and how I have persevered through trials and triumphs.

Special needs parenting requires us to have a different mindset. Caring for our children takes a special heart of patience and love. Hello, I'm Rachetta. I want to share with you my story, tools and resources that encouraged and assisted me in those moments when the uncertainties of this world seemed to rest so heavily on my shoulders, heart and mind.

Have you ever heard the statement “prayers go up and blessings come down?” This is considered a “vertical” transaction. As a special needs mom, I knew in my heart that God would answer my prayers On the Vertical.

We were not created to carry such heavy burdens and special needs alone. We have to rely on our vertical transactions, so that God can hear and answer our prayers and needs.
